Increase reported in bicycle, mo-ped thefts at UH-Manoa

University of Hawaii Campus Security officials are warning students, faculty and staff of a rise in bicycle and mo-ped thefts in the upper campus, lower campus and student housing areas.

Riders are being advised to secure their mo-peds and bicycles to a fixed object in a lighted area.

Security officials is also asking anyone who witnesses someone tampering with a bicycle or moped to call the Campus Security office at 956-6911.
