Rocker, reality television show star and entrepreneur Gene Simmons plans to open a Rock & Brews restaurant on Maui, following the opening of what will be the chain’s first location in El Segundo, Calif. next month.

The restaurant and entertainment venue will serve foods said to be rock musicians’ favorites, as well as craft beers from around the world, and will bear “The Great Wall of Rock” display of rock posters, art and multiple flat screen televisions. Simmons is the bass player and frontman for the rock band KISS.

The concept was created by Los Angeles restaurant industry figure Michael Zislis and concert promoter Dave Furano, who are Simmons’ partners in the venture.

The opening date of the Maui restaurant and its location have not yet been released.
