Nigel Farage, ex-leader of the British UKIP party, speaks as Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, left, listens, at Trump’s campaign rally in Jackson, Miss.

JACKSON, Mississippi >> Donald Trump is linking his “movement to take back the country” to Britain’s surprising vote to leave the European Union.

He invited Nigel Farage, an architect of the withdrawal campaign, to join him on stage at a rally Wednesday night in Jackson.

Farage, the outgoing head of the United Kingdom Independence Party, said “anything is possible” if enough people band together, and predicted that Trump’s presidential campaign would “smash the establishment.”

Farage helped propel the Independence Party from the political fringe to a position as influential power broker. Over the past few years, the party has won over large numbers of voters from other parties by appealing to concerns about globalization and large-scale immigration. Farage, who had pushed for the June 23 referendum on whether Britain should remain in the European Union, stepped down as party leader shortly after his side won.

Farage noted that his movement was an underdog in public opinion polls but ultimately triumphed. He predicted that Trump, who supported Britain’s departure from the European Union, would stage a comeback and win in November.

Trump called Farage’s appearance an honor and said, “The nation’s working people will take control again.”

        • Of course you know the end is in sight for Crooked Hillary. Even her most ardent surrogates are tongue tied.

“That’s the Hillary I’ve come to admire, and that’s why I can say with confidence, there has never been a man or a woman, not me, not Bill, nobody more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as president of the United States of America… ” Obama

Obama is going to eat those words and a lot more. Does he even have a clue?

AP has a 24 hour watch on Bill and Loretta. They can’t pass gas without the FBI not knowing.

Check out RICO. Obama can’t gloss this one over. You know what obstruction of justice is? After all you are the attorney.
          Lock her up.

        • lespark – You’ve forecast indictments and arrest probably hundreds of times for months.

How has that worked out for you?

        • Be patient.Crooked Hilliary was in Reno trashing Trump. She’s wasting her time. She’s sitting on a crate of eggs.

        • lespark – You fabricate crimes in your head. Can you not recognize that you do this over and over again with the same results?

You aren’t ever correct. Not ever. Can’t you see that?

        • After 30+ years, and millions of dollars spent, investigating the Clintons has resulted in not much. Great waste of time and money. Republicans hate spending money for social services, yet don’t bat an eye at throwing away massive amounts of cash in a worthless investigation.

        • Trump is fiscally sane and Trump knows whats up… Whether he will deliver or be allowed to deliver America from the reign of the banksters is another story…in the meantime the septic tank has been opened up on him full blast. This is worse than the treatment Jimmy Carter got when he bucked the establishment with an energy plan and a plan to force a settlement in the middle east.

        • Why? Because you don’t like being called out on your logical fallacies? I’ll choose whether to keep posting my opinions just as you are perfectly free to post yours and not read mine, should you choose to do so.

  • Inviting a foreign politician to participate in an American election campaign is outrageously inappropriate, and no foreign politician who deserves any respect would accept such an invitation. Farage’s is not a politician who deserves respect, and since his anti-European Union campaign was based on lies and racism, his appeal to Trump makes sense. If he’s not too busy attacking Ukraine perhaps Putin might be available to campaign with Trump next week.

    • Bsdetection: You pegged the BS meter with that post. Farage’s opposition to the EU was about restoring national sovereignty and sending a message to power hungry globalists. As usual when you low information types can’t make a rational argument you use the worn out race card. Very unbecoming, don’t you think?

      • A large part of Farage’s Brexit campaign was based on his claim that the UK sends £350M weekly to the EU and that after Brexit that money would go to the National Health Service. On the day after the vote, when asked if he could continue supporting that promise, Farage said:

“No I can’t, and I would have never made that claim. It was one of the mistakes I think the ‘leave’ campaign made.” Translation: that claim was a lie.

To say that UKIP is not a racist party is as preposterous as denying that Trump’s campaign is deeply racist.

        • He has admitted that none of the figures used to sell the campaign – not a single one of them – was true or calculated. All lies.

        • Trump has recently upped his attacks on Clinton and her family’s namesake foundation, saying that foreign governments and business leaders gave primarily to get something in return.
“It is impossible to figure out where the Clinton Foundation ends and the State Department begins,” Trump said Tuesday night at a rally in Austin, Texas. “The specific crimes committed to carry out that enterprise are too numerous to cover in this speech.”

    • Also, before I forget, because you obviously did. Didn’t little Barry insert himself into the UK vote on Brexit? He not so subtly threatened the British people that a vote for Brexit would go badly for them (so far it hasn’t). And in the end little Barry got his wee-wee handed to him.

      • Nobody predicted that the negative impact of Brexit would happen overnight, but the pound is down 13% and the economy is contracting at the fastest rate since 2009.

  • Trump is falling in line with Putin, in making NATO/EU obsolete. More power to Russian interests.
So Farage’s appearance fit’s right in with Russia’s plans. Trump is a pawn of Putin.

    • trump is getting desperate as seen who his campaign has to recruit to bolster his position/votes.
Wait for the real truth comes out regarding trump a month before November election; talk about fire works!!

        • Clinton’s faced some criticism even among Democrats who have criticized her response to email scrutiny. David Axelrod, a former Obama senior adviser and CNN contributor, said jokes Clinton about the issue on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel earlier this week fell flat.
“I think she should not joke about this. She’s done this a few times. She seemed flippant about it. Obviously there are concerns about how she handled these emails and all these jokes fall flat and it makes it seem as if she’s not taking the issue seriously,” Axelrod told CNN’s “New Day” on Wednesday.

  • Not only lends his name to buildings, but now an architect of the flip-flopped. This is just getting better..

“Everything Trump promises comes with an expiration date,” said Cruz’s former Senate communications director, Amanda Carpenter. “We knew it during the primary, and now it is apparent he has duped his most loyal supporters on the issue they care about most, immigration. Don’t say we didn’t warn them.”

The Texas senator has been dealing with plenty of political fallout of his own after refusing to endorse Trump in his speech at the Republican National Convention, a move that generated anger among Trump supporters nationally and has stoked chatter of a primary challenge against Cruz in Texas.

But Trump’s rhetorical contortions on immigration this week are giving Cruz supporters in and around his orbit more hope that anger over the RNC speech, and over his broader opposition to Trump, will fade. They are optimistic that the deeply conservative Cruz will emerge from November looking prescient in his warnings that Trump couldn’t be trusted to defend core GOP values, and say that Trump’s shifting on immigration language this week only proves Cruz’s point.

“It vindicates the speech, it vindicates what Ted Cruz warned would happen during the course of the campaign,” said Chris Wilson, the director of research, analytics and digital strategy on Cruz’s campaign and a top Cruz adviser who has always argued that the RNC speech would be remembered favorably. He went on to add, “I do think, yes, the immigration point is another data point that he was right, it’s another data point that leads people to understand Ted Cruz knew what he was talking about, he was making the right decision.”

Over the past several days, Trump’s position on immigration has become muddled. While the Republican nominee was once staunchly in favor of deportation forces that would target undocumented immigrants and send them back to their countries of origin, he appears to have backed off that position somewhat, likening his view now to that of President Barack Obama.

“What people don’t know is that Obama got tremendous numbers of people out of the country,” Trump said on Fox News on Monday night, noting that he was going to focus on removing “the bad ones.” “Bush, the same thing. Lots of people were brought out of the country with the existing laws. Well, I’m going to do the same thing.”

    • I think it’s great that with his poll numbers further collapsing, he’s morphing his immigration policy into Jeb Bush’s.

He’s hoping that his simple, pathetic supporters don’t notice.

      • “It is impossible to figure out where the Clinton Foundation ends and the State Department begins,” Trump said Tuesday night at a rally in Austin, Texas. “The specific crimes committed to carry out that enterprise are too numerous to cover in this speech.”

        • I don’t really care what a Trump says. His saying something certainly does not make it true.

        • Paul Craig Roberts tells it pretty well in this article
“The US presidential election this November will tell whether a majority of the US population is irredeemably stupid. If voters elect Hillary, we will know that Americans are stupid beyond redemption.

” All that is required is for enough Americans to awake from their insouciance to recognize that it is the enemies of their own lives, their own living standards, and their own liberty who are violently opposed to Trump.
If Americans cannot reach this realization, they have no future, and neither does the planet Earth.

The ruling oligarchy hates Trump because he disavows war with Russia, questions the purpose of NATO, opposes the offshoring of Americans’ jobs, and opposes the uncontrolled immigration that is transforming the United States into a multi-cultural entity devoid of unity. The oligarchs are replacing the United States with a Tower of Babel. Oligarchic power grows exponentially among the disunity of diversity.

In other words, Trump is for America and for Americans.

This is why the oligarchs and their whores hate Trump.”

Read the whole piece…its spot on.!!!

  • The flock of Clingons have come to roost. Haha, you guys are jokes.
Here’s more poop for your breakfast.

“Hillary Clinton defended her family’s charitable foundation on Wednesday against criticism from Donald Trump, saying it had provided more transparency than her Republican rival’s sprawling business interests.

Clinton called into CNN’s “AC360” to address Trump’s suggestions that the foundation started by her husband, former President Bill Clinton, had been used to facilitate a pay-for-play scheme during her time at the State Department.

“What Trump has said is ridiculous. My work as secretary of state was not influenced by any outside forces. I made policies based on what I thought was right,” Clinton said. She said the foundation had provided “life-saving work,” adding that neither she nor her husband had ever drawn a salary from the charity.

“You know more about the foundation than you know about anything concerning Donald Trump’s wealth, his business, his tax returns,” Clinton said.”

Typical crooked Hilliary. Playing the blame game. All it takes is 1 let alone 85. Somebody is going to pin the tail on that lady.

Trump had nothing to do with Benghazi, private servers, cover ups, lies, foundations, initiatives. This was all self inflicted. You know of course she is lieing. 80% of the people believe she is untrustworthy. 85 special interest donated how much? 165 million. And that’s just the beginning. Lots more poop to hit the fan. All AP did was connect the dots.

    Clingons, fasten your seat belts.

    • The Borowitz Report: “It’s questionable whether the ads we were thinking of buying for Trump would work,” Harland Dorrinson, the Pennsylvania G.O.P. chairman, said. “We received the first shipment of alcohol this afternoon, and I can tell you that it’s already working.”

      Bushshahahahaah.

    • Hey NOPARK why are you such an okole-puka? You sound like an old man with VERY SMALL HANDS AND FEET, no worry it is ok and one day your feet and hands might grow bigger like a real man.

  • The blacks, Latinos and Muslims are feeling the Trump love. They are finally realizing that Crooked Hilliary will say anything and not change anything. Obama 2008.
That’s the Hillary I’ve come to admire, and that’s why I can say with confidence, there has never been a man or a woman, not me, not Bill, nobody more qualified than Hillary Clinton to serve as president of the United States of America… Obama is going to eat his words.

      Buahahahahahaahahah!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Interfering with our British Allies’ political and economic landscapes is not the smartest move by our presidential candidates. The US has its own share of issues we need to address.

  • Klastri,
    This is just the beginning.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) sent a letter to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey asking for information related to unauthorized individuals gaining access to classified information due to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

Chairman Chaffetz previously asked Director Comey and U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch for clarity on the issue during hearings on July 7 and July 12.

    The letter states:

“Just as classified information may not be provided to anyone without an appropriate clearance, classified information must also not be stored on a computer system that is not authorized to store it. The transfer of classified information from a computer system authorized to store it to one that is not is called spillage.”

  • Mr. Trump continues his collapse in the polls. Mrs. Clinton correctly tied him to the KKK and to white supremacist imbeciles. Like the ones who comment here.

It looks like the “Hillary is brain damaged” lies didn’t work, so the speculation is about the next conspiracy theory that dim witted people will believe and repeat.

Trump’s supporters are pathetic. It’s a national disgrace.

    • Mr Trump is loading up his team for total destruction of the Clintons that are the national disgrace. HiLIARy is definitely on the defensive. Benghazi, IRS, Clinton Foundation, classified emails and health issue to name a few. How can so many people back a criminal family? Very sad day in America

        • Where is the lady that signed off on the Kenyan’s birth certificate? Who was that foreign student Barry what’s his name. Trump is fiscally sane and Trump knows whats up… Whether he will deliver or be allowed to deliver America from the reign of the banksters is another story. Benghazi, IRS, Clinton Foundation, classified emails and health issues are still on the table.

  • The scary thing about Hillary and others like her who use the misnomer “progressive” to describe themselves is that their goal is to concentrate power in fewer and fewer hands. I use the EU as an example. Under the guise of creating a powerful economic and efficient union of countries, it has turned into a dictatorship run by unelected, faceless bureaucrats in Brussels. The governed have no recourse for their grievances since they have no representation. It’s one party government in it’s ugliest form. The Brexit opposition folks predictably used the race card to turn the vote in their direction (they failed miserably). Could it be that the race card is losing some of it’s power? If so it does not bode well for progressives who rely upon it and free speech stifling political correctness to advance their totalitarian agenda. The same thing is happening in the USA with the rise of little Barry Marx and his band of Bolsheviks. Power is coalescing in Washington DC and the one party government is firmly in place. The sad thing is that Barry and the Clintons have at their disposal millions of useful idiots and taxpayer parasites who worship at the democrat altar.

    • Riddle me this: why are republican states (of the bottom 10) the poorest, the least educated, least employed, least insured, least diverse, least insured, least healthiest, but have the highest rate of federal welfare and highest crime rates…..

Scratch your head on that for a little bit….

      • I hate to bring this fact up, it may make you a little uncomfortable. The 10 safest states to live in are more than 90% white and are democrat strongholds (blue states). Good for them they have law and order. But doesn’t the fact that those states are 90% white make them less diverse? You got your diversity stat backwards Einstein. Makes me wonder what else you are hallucinating about.

        • Hate to bring this up, name the top 20 universities in the nation, shoot name the top 30 or 40—all but one or perphaps two are in d states– why?

All the major cities for finance…all Ds.

          Highest salaries– D states.

Technology and innovation centers, sans Austin (which is a very D leaning city) all D cities.

Where do are best and brightest young people move to….all D cities.

          Facts, not pithy platitudes….

        • Here are the least diverse counties in the US:

Tucker County, West Virginia (100% white/non-Latino)
          Robertson County, Kentucky (100% white/non-Latino)
          Hooker County, Nebraska (100% white/non-Latino)
Hand County, South Dakota (99% white/non-Latino and 1% Latino)
Owsley County, Kentucky (98% white/non-Latino and 2% Latino)

They are NOT also the safest….again, facts, not platitudes.

Go ahead and make up another fake degree…

        • The libs can’t handle the truth. Love these lines from CEI…”The sad thing is that Barry and the Clintons have at their disposal millions of useful idiots and taxpayer parasites who worship at the democrat altar.” “I might add to that the more dependent on government handouts someone is, the more likely they are to be a democrat.”

      • Ike, ike, ike. Pull yourself together man. Your least diverse county stat is as meaningless as a Barry Hussein “if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor” promise. Or a Hillary Clinton promise to maintain a firewall between the State Dept. and the Clinton Crime Family. What’s next the least diverse town or least diverse street? Last time I checked the electoral college was based on states not on cherry picked least diverse counties. Better quit while you’re behind.

        • Like HRC, the facts and numbers are on my side…..and it’s not even close.

So, by the way, on your fictional degree what was your PhD, thesis on?? Remember, as I am on faculty at a university, this is easily identified…..that’s what I thought, crickets….nothing worse than crickets, unless it’s a lying cricket.

    • Democrats tend to be more educated; they earn more money; and pay more taxes.

The more educated someone is, the more likely they are to be a Democrat.

        • I suggest you actual objective reading on these topics, one that takes quantitative research on these qualitative outcomes. In short, democratic cities do much better in attracting high salary, next generation jobs, by a large margin over R states and cities–why??

Well–This is a very active area of research, but I think fundamentally, there are three major reasons why clustering takes place. One is the thick labor market effect. If you are in a very highly specialized position, you want to be in a labor market where there are a lot of employers looking for workers, and a lot of workers looking for employers. The match between employer and employee tends to be more productive, more creative and innovative in thicker labor markets.

It is the same thing for the vendors, the providers of intermediate services. Companies in the Silicon Valley will find very specialized IP lawyers, lab services, and shipping services that focus on that niche of the industry. And because they are so specialized, they’re particularly good at what they’re doing.

The third factor is what economists call human capital spillovers — the fact that people learn from their colleagues, random encounters in a coffee shop, at a party, from their children, and so on. There’s a lot of sociological evidence that this is one of the attractions of Silicon Valley. You’re always near other people who are at the frontier, so you tend to exchange information. Sometimes it’s information about job openings. Sometimes it’s information about what you’re doing, what type of technology you’re adopting, what type of research you are doing. And this, as you can imagine, is important for R&D, for innovation.

So these three forces are crucial, and that means that localities that already have a lot of innovation tend to attract even more workers and even more employers. That further strengthens their virtuous circle.

All these centers ALL have comprehensive social nets……in short, it’s both pertinent and necessary to consider all levels and sectors of society.

        • Britain voted by a margin of 52% to 48% to leave the EU – and the contenders to replace David Cameron as PM have all vowed make it happen. The people made it happen not the pompous over educated know it alls. It ain’t over yet.

    • >>>it has turned into a dictatorship run by the unelected

I humbly suggest that you may be misinformed. From what I hear most Europeans really like the European Union. Even the Greeks voted to stay in the Union.

      • Of course the Greeks voted to stay on the union. Years of left wing style government bankrupted the country. The EU finance ministers bailed out the Greeks (with other people’s money), why wouldn’t they want to stay?

  • it was a smart move by the British to get out of the EU here is why. Hitler tried to get all the EU powers under his rule in WWll but failed. now we have East German chancellor Merkel trying to succeed where Hitler failed, in getting all the EU under her power. and Obama and Hillary back her up. she insists on opening borders to let all these radical Muslims in to the European countries, look at all the killings these filthy Muslims are doing right now in these countries. Merkel was a member of the communist East German Stazi or the GDR in her younger days, so she is trying to be another Hitler and Obama and Hillary are backing her up. the Brits. said no way are they going to join the EU. smart move by the British.
