Magnitude 3.5 quake shakes Big Island

A small earthquake rattled Hawaii island Thursday.

The magnitude 3.5 temblor struck at 1:25 p.m. about four miles northwest of Waikoloa Village, the U.S. Geological Survey said on its website.

The epicenter was at a depth of six to seven miles, the agency said.
