    The Honolulu Department of Emergency Services has identified its top 10 911 callers, who have taken a yearly average of 52 ambulance trips. Each ride costs $795, and emergency room visits are even more.

A 20-year-old man was critically injured when he tried to jump into a pool from the fourth floor of a student apartment building near the University of Hawaii Manoa campus early this morning, officials said.

Police and paramedics responded to the Kalo Terrace Student Suites at 1054 Kalo Place at 2:43 a.m.

No other details were immediately available.
