A 21-year-old man who tried to sell a stolen camera back to the owner was arrested yesterday in Kapolei.

Police said the owner, a 58-year-old man, found someone took his camera from his car overnight.

The same morning he found someone trying to sell his camera online and arranged to meet with that person, police said.

The two men met at an arranged location on Farrington Highway about 4:30 p.m. The owner identified his camera and flagged down a patrol officer who arrested the man on suspicion of second-degree theft.
