A 25-year-old man was arrested for allegedly elbowing and punching two officers who were investigating the abuse of a 24-year-old woman, police said.

The officers responded to a dropped call about 4:20 a.m. Friday in Waikiki and found an abuse case. While investigating, the man became uncooperative and aggressive, then elbowed one officer and repeatedly punched the other. Both officers sustained minor injuries. The man was booked for assaulting a law enforcement officer and abuse.
