Man arrested for allegedly using stolen check to open account
Police arrested a 22-year-old man who allegedly used a check stolen from a restaurant to open a checking account.
Police said the man opened the account on Jan. 7.
When he returned to the bank in Makiki Tuesday, police were called.
Officers arrested the man on suspicion of second-degree forgery.
