Edward R. Martin was charged with attempted murder after another man was found covered with blood in Kahului.
Maui police Tuesday charged a 55-year-old man with second-degree attempted murder in connection with a fight that injured another man Sunday at a Molokai Akau Street residence in Kahului.
Edward R. Martin was also charged with first-degree terroristic threatening and violation of an order of protection. His bail was set at $320,000, police said.
Martin was arrested after turning himself in to police in Wailuku Monday night.
The victim who was found covered in blood sustained lacerations and was shot with a pellet gun, police said. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
