A man accused of firing a handgun at his nephew over the weekend made his first appearance in Honolulu District Court Monday.

Larry A. Bunn, 52, of Haleiwa Road, is charged with attempted murder, first-degree terroristic threatening, first-degree reckless endangerment and third-degree assault.

Bunn was arrested at 11:35 a.m. Saturday after allegedly firing at his nephew, who was not injured. The two men got into an argument and the suspect told his nephew to leave the home, police said. As the nephew packed, the suspected allegedly brandished the handgun and fired it at the nephew, police said.

Bunn is being held at the Oahu Community Correctional Center in lieu of $50,000 bail.
