Man in critical condition after being hit with beer bottle
Police said a 24-year-old man was in critical condition after being hit in the head by a beer bottle Tuesday in Haleiwa.
The assailant hit the victim with the bottle about 10:30 p.m., knocking him unconscious.
The victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in critical condition, according to a police report issued Friday night. Police did not release information on the assailant.
A first-degree assault case has been opened.
