Man sought for Kaimuki break-in, attempted sexual assault

    Honolulu police released this sketch of a suspect in a break-in and attempted sex assault in the Kaimuki area.

Police are looking for a man in his 30s who broke into a woman’s home and tried to sexually assault her Tuesday in Kaimuki.

Police said the woman was in her home on 6th Avenue when an unknown man entered the house through an unlocked door at 11:20 a.m. and tried to sexually assault her.

The woman managed to escape to a neighbor’s home and call police.

The man is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall, 250 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
