Maui fire personnel help man who fell into Bamboo Forest pool
Maui fire rescue personnel assisted a man who suffered an apparent head injury this afternoon after falling into a pool at the Bamboo Forest off Hana Highway.
According to a Maui Fire Department report, the 34-year-old visitor from California fell approximately 15 feet and suffered a laceration to his head about 3 p.m.
The man was airlifted to a secure landing zone then transported in stable condition to Maui Memorial Medical Center.
