Maui fire rescue crews will continue a search tomorrow at first light for a female swimmer reported missing shortly after 3 p.m. yesterday off Kaanapali.

The woman was swimming in waters near Puu Kekaa, known as Black Rock.

Fire rescue personnel responded with two rescue boats and ocean rescue divers, a county news release said.

Air One and six county ocean safety officers on personal watercraft assisted in the search.

The Coast Guard also sent out a vessel to assist in the search. The search was discontinued at nightfall.
