The city Medical Examiner’s Office said it will be about eight weeks before they will be able to release a determination on the cause of death of man who was found dead in his car in the parking lot of the Beretania Street Times Supermarket complex on Saturday.

An autopsy was done yesterday but medical examiners have deferred announcing a determination on the death of Keith Sugihara, 45, of Honolulu, until further tests can be completed.

Sugihara’s body was found slumped over in the passenger’s seat of a maroon Toyota Camry in front of the Clean Living Hakuyosha dry cleaners.

Police were not notified until Saturday afternoon. The case was classified by detectives as an unattended death pending further investigation.
