The National Weather Service has issued a new flood advisory for the island of Oahu through 4 p.m. Thursday after heavy rain soaked the area near Mililani Town.

Other locations in the advisory include, but are not limited to, Whitmore Village, Wahiawa and Schofield Barracks.

Trade winds are expected to diminish slightly Thursday, but will become breezy and gusty this weekend.

A storm system may move over the islands on Saturday, bringing an increased chance of rain and possible thunderstorms.
