The guided-missile cruiser USS Port Royal returned today after a deployment to the Western Pacific and Middle East.

The vessel pulled into its home port of Pearl Harbor today with a crew of more than 300 officers and enlisted sailors.

While deployed, the Port Royal helped in transferring the defense of Iraqi territorial waters and the Al Basrah and Khawr Al Amaya oil terminals to the Iraqi navy and Iraqi marines.
