Police arrest man, 21, for alleged kidnapping in Waimanalo
Police arrested a 21-year-old man on suspicion of kidnapping after he allegedly held a woman for about 12 hours in a Waimanalo home.
The woman, 25, told police that the alleged kidnapping began at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Police arrested the suspect at 6:25 a.m. Monday.
The victim alleged that the suspect also choked her while holding her against her will, police said.
