Fire trucks and ambulances stand in the city center of Ansbach near Nuremberg, southern Germany, Monday morning, July 25, 2016, after a man was killed when an explosive device he was believed to be carrying went off near an open-air music festival, injuring 10 others.

ANSBACH, Germany>> A man who blew himself up and injured 12 people after being turned away from an open-air music festival was a 27-year-old Syrian who had been denied asylum, Bavaria’s top security official said early Monday.

“We don’t know if this man planned on suicide or if he had the intention of killing others,” Bavarian interior minister Joachim Herrmann said.

He added that the man’s request for asylum was rejected a year ago, but he was allowed to remain in Germany on account of the situation in Syria.

Three of the 12 victims suffered serious injuries, Herrmann said.

A spokesman for the prosecutor’s office in Ansbach said the attacker’s motive wasn’t clear.

“If there is an Islamist link or not is purely speculation at this point,” said the spokesman, Michael Schrotberger.

The explosion in the southern German state came just two days after a man went on a deadly rampage at a Munich mall, killing nine people, and after an ax attack on a train near Wuerzburg last Monday wounded five.

Authorities said they were alerted to an explosion in the city’s center shortly after 10 p.m. on Sunday.

The open-air concert with about 2,500 in attendance was shut down as a precaution after the explosion.

Germany, and Bavaria in particular, have been on edge following the attacks in Munich and on the train, which in turn came shortly after a Tunisian man in a truck killed 84 people when he plowed through a festive crowd celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, on the French Riviera.

Bavarian public broadcaster Bayerische Rundfunk reported that about 200 police officers and 350 rescue personnel were brought in following the explosion in Ansbach.

Considering Germany has allowed over one million people to come in their country from the Middle East, he was probably the only one denied asylum. So, he is a little angry.

How many of these people has Obama/Clinton allowed to come to America? Nobody knows for sure.

According to the State dept. refugee processing center, 6,700 this year of which

A grand total of 23 are Christians.

Obama has assured us that the refugees are thoroughly vetted despite the FBI director saying just recently that they are not.

Who can forget the images of Angela Merkel taking selfies with refugees only to admit they have lost count of over 500,000 of those very same refugees. This is what happens when you allow free access to your borders. Hillary, are you paying attention?

    • cojef says:

Having followed a lengthy protocol to have sister-in-law immigrate under a student visa to US was disallowed by the consular officer at Kobe, Japan under assumption that she was seeking permanent residency. Only after intervention by 2 Congressmen was she allowed entry. The Obama Administration with a minimum of vetting if you could call it that is now allowing 65,000 refugees from Syria. Hillary wants to up the figure based on the advise of a trusted staffer who was born in the Middle-East.

  5. kekelaward says:

You seem to have forgotten about the murder of a pregnant lady in the Southern German town of Reutlingen yesterday (can the ‘new journalism” only cover one jihadi story at a time?). Hacked to death by a Syrian “refugee” with a machete.

A Syrian 21 year old “refugee” who is already known to the cops because he has previously been in “incidents” where others have been injured (I’d like to see those stories and their cover ups).

Just imagine the field day Ige’s Islamists will have here with our revolving door Judiciary and our insane PC dem party.

It will be up to the People to Defend Hawaii, cause the government sure isn’t going to.

Lesson #299 – If you reject a person for asylum, make sure that person leaves the country immediately. Germany’s immigration people are as inept as the U.S. immigration people.
