Police arrested two teenagers for allegedly breaking a window at a Kalihi apartment and then threatening the two women who live there with a bat and a handgun.

Police said the boys, ages 17 and 15, went to the apartment, where two women, ages 36 and 19, live, at 2:17 a.m. Monday. One of the boys used a machete to allegedly break a window.

The second boy, allegedly wielding a bat, argued with the women.

One of the boys then allegedly pulled out a handgun, and both boys fled the scene, police said.

Police caught and arrested the two boys on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening and third-degree criminal property damage. The case was later reclassified to second-degree terroristic threatening.
