Police search for thief in Aiea, Waipahu robberies

This security camera image shows a suspect in two recent robberies.

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a man in his 20s suspected of robbing two 7-Eleven stores on early Wednesday morning in Waipahu and Aiea within 15 minutes.

The first robbery occurred at 3:15 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on Ukee Street. The second 7-Eleven robbery took place at 3:30 a.m. on Kaonohi Street.

In both robberies, the suspect entered the store, handed the cashier a note, demanded money then fled.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, standing 5-foot-2 to 5-foot-3. He wore a red baseball cap, green shirt and had a black shoulder bag.
