Police seek suspect in Wahiawa bank robbery

Police are seeking an armed man who was wearing a ski mask when he robbed a Wahiawa bank Thursday morning.

The bandit was wielding a handgun at 10:05 a.m. Thursday when he entered  the Central Pacific Bank branch at 925 California Ave.

He demanded money and fled on foot in an unknown direction, police said.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, standing 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing 180 to 200 pounds, with brown eyes. He was wearing a brown jacket with a gray hood, brown long pants, a black backpack and a black ski mask.

Anyone with information on the robbery or identity of the suspect is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cell phone.
