Shark spotted at Kaisers beach

A shark bit a kiteboarder on his right calf today at Kanaha Beach in Maui.
A 10-foot tiger shark was spotted in the channel at Kaisers around 1:40 pm. Monday, according to an Ocean Safety official.
The beach will remain open, but lifeguards posted warning signs in the area and verbal warnings were given on shore and by jet ski.
