A 46-year-old man suspected of killing Alexis Gonzales, whose dismembered body was found Sept. 15 off Mililani Memorial Park Road in Waipio, was arrested Monday afternoon in California.

A U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force assisted in arresting the suspect at 3:45 p.m. Monday.

The suspect is being held on a grand jury warrant bail set at $5 million, police said.

On Nov. 26, an Oahu grand jury indicted the suspect on suspicion of second-degree murder.
