Suspect arrested in Waikiki purse theft

Police arrested a 33-year-old Niu Valley man for allegedly taking a purse from the lobby of the Princess Kaiulani Hotel on Monday.

Police arrested the suspect at the Waikiki hotel shortly after the theft occurred at 3:15 p.m.

Officers arrested him for suspicion of second-degree theft.
