Police arrested a 16-year-old boy, who was armed with a knife, on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening and third-degree assault after he allegedly punched a 16-year-old girl in the face in Waikiki.

Police said the boy was drunk when he approached a group of people he did not know about 11:45 p.m. yesterday.

The teen allegedly pulled out a large knife and struck the girl with a fist, which held the knife, police said.

Police in the area caught the teen and arrested him.

The girl complained of pain to her face, but refused treatment, police said.

The boy was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center, where he was treated for an abrasion, police said.
