The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a 19-month-old girl who was killed by a reversing truck as Tayzah Ann Kekumu of Waianae.

Kekumu died of head injuries from the crash, the Medical Examiner’s Office said.

Police said a 29-year-old Waianae man hit the girl while backing a Ford F-150 pickup truck out of a driveway in the 6700 block of Mamau Place in Waialua about 3 p.m. Paramedics took the girl to the hospital in critical condition, where she died about 35 minutes later.
