Wahiawa man charged with robbing downtown jewelry store

Prosecutors have charged a 32-year-old Wahiawa man with robbing a downtown jewelry store of two gold chains on July 8.

According to police, Robert Gibson used force to take the chains from a 61-year-old woman.

Gibson was identified and arrested on Wednesday. He was charged Thursday with second-degree theft. His bail was set at $100,000.
