This composite satellite image shows a line of clouds from a cold front approaching Kauai this morning.

A weak cold front moving over the state Wednesday afternoon is expected to bring some clouds, light showers and cool temperatures to the islands.

The showers will mostly be over north shores and north facing slopes. Maui and the Big Island may also see gusty winds.

Lows may drop into the 50s and low 60s again Wednesday night in Honolulu as north winds bring cooler conditions. The winds will shift to the southeast Thursday afternoon as another front approaches the state.

The Kona winds will bring vog and muggy conditions with the chance of scattered showers Thursday night through the weekend, especially on Saturday night in Honolulu.
