Woman, 60, arrested on suspicion of second-degree forgery

A 60-year-old woman tried to cash a stolen business check Saturday in the Honolulu area, police said. 

When the woman tried to cash the check around 11:22 a.m., a customer service representative called the business and found out the check had been stolen, police said.

The employee then called police, and the woman was arrested around 12:15 p.m. on suspicion of second-degree forgery, according to police records. She was released pending investigation.
