    Todd Nakayama, a teacher at Waipahu High School, is the first recipient of the Hawai‘i Lodging and Tourism Association’s Hospitality Educator of the Year Award. Nakayama leads Waipahu’s Academy of Hospitality & Tourism, which prepares students for careers in the visitor industry.
