Last week, Manoa Valley Theatre opened "Avenue Q," a sharp-witted coming-of-age parable satirizing young adulthood. The musical, inspired by PBS' "Sesame Street," combines a cast of humans and puppets.

The show runs through April 3, with showtimes at 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays, 3 and 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 4 p.m. Sundays.

Tickets are $39 with special pricing for seniors, military and those under age 26. Call 988-6131 or visit www.manoavalleytheatre.com.
