By Ben Wood

THE FORMER hostesses of Hawaiian Airlines who flew in DC-3s, back in the 1940s and '50s, are holding their annual gathering Nov. 13 at the Ala Moana Hotel. They have an outstanding program lined up for all past and present HAL employees.

Others to perform with her include Eloise Gaspar Hoyt, Gary Aiko, Joe Recca, Babe Bell, and Hiram and Casey Olsen. Casey plays the steel guitar, which was so important to the radio show.

Hula dancers include Hale Ka'ohu Rowland, Queenie Ventura Dowsett, Jackie Booth and LikeLike Davis. Naluhoe, made up of Recca, Vicky Hollinger and Kawika Maguire, will perform before dinner. Party organizers are Rowland, Abigail Chong, Peaches Smith, Carol Mae Vanderford, Mercy Bacon, Vivian Luning Bell, Eula May Sweet and Koa'e Kea President Trudy DeLa Fountaine.
