Kids Voting Hawaii 2010 drew 108,486 ballots, with youngsters choosing Republican Charles Djou over rival Democrat Colleen Hanabusa, 61 percent to 39 percent, and Republican Duke Aiona over Neil Abercrombie, 59 percent to 36 percent. "Yes" votes topped "no" votes 59 percent to 41 percent on the proposed constitutional amendment on an appointed versus elected school board.
