Carmen Vierra's home is filled with Elvis memorabilia. Vierra is especially happy to be attending the 40th anniversary screening of "Aloha from Hawaii" at Blaisdell Arena since she missed the 1973 show to celebrate her daughter's first birthday.

Bob Anderson holds a set tickets for Elvis concerts staged in Hawaii, amid his collection of Elvis memorabilia at his Home of The Brave Museum, a collection of military items near Ward Avenue. Anderson was a fan since early in Elvis' career, but he never got to see Elvis perform live. "I was never in the right place and time to do that," he said. He's made up for that absence by collecting Elvis items for the last 15 years.

Miriam Miyai, a retired bookeeper, became a fan of Presley after winning a ticket to his first concert here in 1957. Miyai holds up photos of her with Elvis taken in 1963. She left the islands for California as a 20-something, "the main reason being to find Elvis."
