Efron sightings make hearts melt

The blogosphere was agog yesterday over an appearance by "High School Musical" star Zac Efron -- sans shirt -- on a beach on Maui.

One offering on CNN.com effused over his "ripped biceps, pumped up pecs and a serious six-pack" in the sighting Sunday. "Serious" was too weak a word for buzznet.com, which hailed his "perfect six-pack abs."

Efron, 22, shown at left, is in Hawaii with his younger brother Dylan to attend the Maui Film Festival, where he will be honored with the Shining Star Award at 8 p.m. tomorrow.

His latest movie, "Charlie St. Cloud," opens July 30.
