Muggle memories

By Star-Advertiser staff

POSTED:

Best friends Allison Duran and Nicole Miner love the Harry Potter novels and movies so much they enlisted in a seven-month Disney internship just so they could be in Florida the same time the Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened at Universal Orlando Resort last year. “It changed our lives. … We worked hard so we could be there opening day,” said Duran, pictured on the left with Miner, enjoying a mug of butterbeer at the theme park.

As part of a special package of stories to mark the July 15 release of “Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part 2,” we’d like to share your memories and feelings about what J.K. Rowling’s books and the movies have meant to you. Email your comments and photos to features@staradvertiser.com.
