Minkoff collection on view

Designer Rebecca Minkoff will shows her Spring 2013 collection at Nordstrom, 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the handbags department.

Minkoff’s latest collection is a nod to the iconic ’60s and ’70s photographer Slim Aarons, known for photographing socialites, jet-setters and celebrities as they lounged poolside, evoking a carefree, beachlike spirit. The New York-based designer’s playful, subtly edgy designs have made her popular with a young Hollywood crowd and are worn by celebrities such as Jaime King, Ashlee Simpson and Blake Lively.

Light refreshments will be served, and a gift will be given with purchase.
