'Wedding Palace' detailslong-distance romance

"The Wedding Palace," a feature film produced and directed by Christine Yoo, is making waves on the film festival circuit. Yoo is Korean-American, and her film is about a Korean-American male, played by Brian Tee ("Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift"), falling in love with a Korean national, played by Kand Hye-jung ("Welcome to Dongmakgol"), during a business trip to South Korea. A long-distance relationship ensues while Brian fights a family curse. This romantic comedy has been getting a lot of media attention and features many familiar Korean-American celebrities, such as comedians Bobby Lee and Margaret Cho.
