HAPPY 84th, JIM!
Jim Nabors, second from left, enjoyed an early 84th-birthday party with two dozen relatives and friends Saturday at Eastern Paradise Restaurant in Makiki. Nabors and his husband, Stan Cadwallader, right, had just returned from the Indianapolis 500 where Nabors sang and was grand marshal of the 500 Festival Parade. Also pictured are Vivien Stackpole and her husband, retired Marine Lt. Gen. Hank Stackpole. Gov. Neil Abercrombie sent a proclamation designating Thursday, Nabors’ birthday, as Jim Nabors Day in Hawaii.
