Soul Healing Day is Thursday night at McKinley High

By Star-Advertiser staff

POSTED:

Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha, a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine in China and Canada, is holding a free Soul Healing Day and blessing Wednesday from 7 to 10 p.m. in the McKinley High School auditorium.

He also will be holding workshops from Thursday through Feb. 27 in the Oahu Suite of the Ilikai Hotel.

Trained as a physician in China, Sha combines the essence of Western and traditional Chinese medicine with ancient spiritual healing techniques from China, according to his website, powerofsoul.com. The founder of the Institute of Soul Healing and Enlightenment, Sha is a master of ancient disciplines such as tai chi, qi gong, feng shui and I Ching.

On Thursday, Sha will hold a session from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. — with an optional evening session from 7 to 10 p.m. — in the Oahu Suite of the Ilikai Hotel. There is a $100 fee.

A Soul Healing and Enlightenment Retreat will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. There is $200 fee for the three-day session.

Registration and fees will be accepted up to the day of the event, said Diane Fuji, co-director of the Love Peace Harmony Center Honolulu, the sponsor. Register by calling 988-8090 or e-mailing LPHCenterHonolulu@gmail.com.
