USC band stars in “Five-0” video

CBS’s latest promotional push for "Hawaii Five-0" features the shows iconic theme song played by the Trojan Marching Band of the University of Southern California.

The lively video shows band members in aloha shirts interacting with stars Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park on Waikiki Beach and another beach site, with other scenes featuring the band in formal uniform on its home turf.

The light-hearted clip includes a surfing Trojan and band members dancing in the sand.

The Hawaii shots were filmed while the USC band was here for the Trojans’ Sept. 2 football game with the University of Hawaii Warriors.

CBS said the video will be presented on-air and online.

"Hawaii Five-0" premieres at 9 p.m. Monday on KGMB.
