Concerns intensify over Kunia structures

This houselike structure is among the more than 20 that have been built in Kunia Loa Ridge Farmlands over the past few years. A state law and Kunia Loa’s own rules ban dwellings there, but regulators say they aren’t authorized to go inside to determine whether the structures are residences. No residential buildings are allowed in the farming subdivision, but structures like the one shown have been erected there. The ag subdivision is not connected to Oahu's power, water, sewer and telephone grids.
