I wonder how much the switch to Friday evenings has helped or hurt the ratings? By some logic, you would think that many people in the targeted demographic would be out on the town on a Friday night. I'm not in that demographic anymore & have been a steady fan since the Jack Lord days.I love the panoramic views of the islands. When I'm on the mainland, it is these images that remind me how beautiful our home is. Still, happy to see they are leading the time slot.

IMHO this latest show was the best. Not too much of the extraneous story lines: no mother, not to much on Kono and the unctuous Adam, etc. As always Danno and Steve are the best. I continue to think, however, that Steve's tatoos look like a skin disease. All in all, a great show.

I used to love his show. Now it seems the writers put more emphasis on the mindless banter between Steve and Danny and less on the actual plot line. I also notice the gore factor has increased exponentially since season one. Lots more blood and stuff. Meh.

I watch Hawaii-50 just to look at the scenery and get a glimpse of home. I must admit when they take the aerial view that's not totally accurate. Where are the rain clouds that greeted me, when I attended UH carrying my umbrella every day. (LOL)
