Blessing of Marine Science and Storage Facility

U.S. Rep. Mazie Hirono visited with Sen. Dan Inouye in one of the storage buildings. Hirono and Inouye were on hand for the blessing ceremony of the Marine Science and Storage Facility. Also attending the ceremony were Steve Gallagher (Site Manager, Pacific Region Center), RDML Katherine Gregory (Commander, NAVFAC Pacific), Dr. Jane Lubchenco (Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere NOAA Administrator), U.S. Rep.Colleen Hanabusa and Gov. Neil Abercrombie.
