Civil unions

Two men, who did not want to be identified, embrace outside the Senate chambers on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011 in the State Capitol. Senate Bill 232 was passed--a measure that would allow all couples — same- or opposite-sex — to enter into a civil union with all the rights, privileges and protections of traditional marriage.
