Island Images: February

The Pan Pacific VEX Robotics Championship 2013, held Saturday at the Hawai‘i Convention Center, attracted 104 teams, including 16 from China, three from Taiwan and one from California. Above, Waialua High and Intermediate School’s robotic team — Tripp Blaser, top, Megan Andrada, right, and Yoshio Yoshizumi — checked out their robot before heading off to compete.
