Island Images: The 97th Annual Kamehameha Day
The 97th Annual Kamehameha Day celebration honors the reign of King Kamehameha, who was responsible for uniting the Hawaiian Islands under his rule in 1795. The colorful parade started at King and Richards, proceeded from`Iolani Palace, down Punchbowl to Ala Moana Blvd. and Kalakaua Avenue to Kapi`olani Park.
