A survivor at rest

Pearl Harbor survivor and World War II veteran Vernon Olsen, 91, of Port Charlotte, Florida was interned at the USS Arizona Memorial on Wednesday afternoon. U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Fernandez "Frank" Ponds escorted Jo Ann Olsen, wife of Vernon Olsen, out of the memorial as National Park historian Daniel Martinez held Olsen's urn which was to be interned by divers in the USS Arizona.
