Donald Takayama paddle-out memorial, Nov. 10, 12

Family and friends of legendary surfer and surfboard craftsman Donald Takayama celebrated his life with a paddle-out memorial. Takayama’s sister Gwen Mole, Jayson Mole (Gwen's son, father to Cody and Darien), grandsons, Cody Mole, Darien Mole Shayden Takeyama, Gwen's son, Jason Mole and Richard Takeyama (Donald's nephew, father to Shayden) rode out in a canoe.
